Building the Boeing Vertol 107 in 1/48?

There is only one base kit (with new tooling) of the Boeing Vertol 107 (and it's different developments). The first version was the CH-46E Current U.S. Marines "Bull Frog" released by Academy in 2004. The kit has then been re-released three times with new parts each time. The KV-107-II-5 J.A.S.D.F. (2004), the CH/HH-46D Sea Knight "U.S. NAVY Version" (2005) and the CH-46A/D "U.S. Marines - Vietnam" (2006).

If you as me want to build a Hkp 4 (Swedish Air force) the KV-107-II-5 J.A.S.D.F. is the right kit for the early versions. For the later versions you need to modify the rear part (maybe by replacing it with parts from a CH/HH-46D Sea Knight "U.S. NAVY Version" if you can afford two kits for one model).
