Walk around the Hawker Typhoon

Introduced in 1941, the Typhoon was first intended to be an interceptor fighter but developed into a successful ground attack fighter. If you want to learn more about the plane I recommend the Wikipedia article.

Building the Hawker Typhoon in 1/48?

There has been several kits released but the most spread are two base kits. One kit from Monogram released in 1968. Re-released several times, even as late as 2012. The second is a kit from Hasegawa released in 1999. The last releases of this kit comes from Eduard who has released six versions since 2017. I have no experience of any of them but I'd go for the Eduard release, like this.

It's also worth mentioning Airfix's two releases of the Typhoon in scale 1/24. Hawker Typhoon Mk.IB and Hawker Typhoon Mk.IB 'Car Door'.
