First flown in 1940 and first delivered to the Swedish Air Force in 1942 this bomber saw service until 1948. Some 46 B17's was later exported to Ethiopia where they made service until 1968. If you want to learn more about the plane I recommend the Wikipedia article.

Building the Saab B17 in 1/48?

This year (2019) Tarangus released a kit of the Saab B17A. I've not had the chance to build it yet but it looks promising.
